Description
Accounting and auditing requirements are currently undergoing dynamic development, with the harmonization of national and international auditing standards, digitization and the increased focus on sustainability reporting being the main drivers. As a result of these trends, the auditing profession is facing considerable innovations and changes. In the course of the seminar, essential (current) questions of auditing are addressed and scientifically elaborated in independent written papers by the students. The written work serves as preparation for the master's thesis and should at the same time point out possible topics for the master's thesis. The developed topics are then presented and discussed by the students in groups. The exact topics will be assigned during the kickoff.
Note
The seminar in cooperation with EY is part of module III together with the master seminar in cooperation with Baker Tilly in the summer semester and the seminar "Corporate Governance of Public Organizations" by Prof. Leisyte in the summer semester.
