Description
As part of the case study seminar, a case study from the field of accounting-related consulting is to be worked out independently in group or individual work. The students take on the role of an employee in the Accounting & Reporting Advisory department and develop, for example, a concept on topics from the areas of IFRS conversion, implementation of standards, implementation of new regulations and standards in financial and non-financial business reporting. Concepts on relevant issues including the theoretical basis are to be elaborated in a written seminar paper. Subsequently, the results of the case study will be presented during the seminar presentations, if necessary at a cooperation partner from the practice.
